BIM In Nepal Conference 2019 - Nepal BIM Forum

BIM In Nepal Conference 2019

Nepal Building Information Modeling Forum (NBIMF) is a non-profit organization which was started by a group of Nepalese BIM enthusiasts. The association mainly works on the four core areas and abbreviated as “RISE” for BIM development in the Nepalese Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry. The four core areas are BIM Research, BIM Implementation, BIM Standards and BIM Education.

Trimble Solutions is a globally recognized solution provider for different industries like Agriculture, Building Construction, Civil Engineering and Construction, Geospatial, Transportation, Government, Forestry, Rail, Field Service Management, Telecommunications, Electric and Water Utilities as well as many others. Trimble solutions are used in over 150 countries around the world. Employees are located in more than 40 countries.

To boost the BIM implementation process, NBIMF is collaborating with Trimble to organize a BIM Event in Nepal on the 2nd of August, at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu, in support with Department of Urban Development and Building Construction. It is an event for the engineers, AEC stakeholders and organizations in Nepal.

The aim of the event is to bring together different governmental organizations, decision makers, designers, contractors, consulting firms, engineers and news agencies to introduce BIM and discuss on various benefits it could provide to the Nepalese built environment. This event will raise the awareness and encourage government bodies, engineers, contractors and construction companies to explore the various benefits of BIM implementation in their projects ultimately benefiting the Nepalese AEC communities.
